Poppin' Peppermint Macarons

Macarons are such a delicate treat that you can serve to anyone with a side of tea. The crunchy but soft shells with flavorful buttercream will leave everyone wanting more. They're sweet but not overly sweet - so I must warn you not eat the whole patch!
